Leonardo Rossano

Architect and designer graduated in Florence, where he lives, in 1991. In the 1990s, he collaborated with architect Claudio Nardi of Florence on projects for private residences, public spaces and boutiques of Italian fashion designers such as Dolce & Gabbana, G. Ferrè and Valentino. Co-founder, in 2012, of CODE – collective design, a self-production group of design objects. Since ’98 he has been freelancing designing furniture, products, exhibition spaces, and taking care of corporate image and communication. Clients include Tma, Lapalma, R.F.Yamakawa, True design. For Clerprem, he took care of the art direction and designed railway seats. He carries out teaching and research activities: after his thesis he was assistant to Prof. Roberto Segoni on the industrial design course and until 2009 lecturer on the degree course in Fashion Design in Florence. Her subjects taught include “Furniture product design” and “Theory and History of industrial design”. He currently teaches Furniture design at the Florence Institute of design International.
